About Us

The Town of Wilton was established in April, 1856, and it is where the Kickapoo River begins. The Town of Wilton has the Elroy-Sparta State Trail running through where those enjoying the trail, can see the beautiful scenery the Town of Wilton has to offer.

Along the trail, The Dorset Valley Schoolhouse Restaurant, can be visited for a quick sit down meal or to enjoy the items in their gift shop. The Tunnel Trail Campground also has access to the bike trail if campers are looking for something to do while camping. The Wilton Rod & Gun Club is also located near the campground and restaurant and holds events throughout the year.
