Welcome to the Town of Wilton. The Town of Wilton was established in April, 1856 and can be found in the Southeast corner of Monroe County. (History of Northern Wisconsin 1881)

​​Regular Monthly Meeting:

Every 1st Tuesday of the month 6:00 p.m., unless other circumstances arise.

Meetings will be held at the Town Hall.

If you have something to be addressed on the agenda, please be sure to contact the town board a minimum of a week prior to assure your spot on the agenda.
Recycling & Garbage

Garbage pickup - every Tuesday. Garbage should be out for pick up by 8:00 a.m.

Garbage bags - $2.00 each & stickers are $5.00 each.

Bags must be placed by the resident’s mailbox or at the end of the driveway.

Bags need to be closed. Garbage bags torn open by animals will also be left.

Four (4) bag limit per week.

Stickers - made for items that won’t fit in a regular garbage bag and do not apply to appliances or tires.

Stickered items should not exceed 50 pounds, weight limit will be the judgement of town patrol person.

Garbage bags should not be over 40 pounds, weight limit will be the judgement of town patrol person.

Residents need to purchase the marked town bags for pick up - at the Wilton Hardware Store or during recycling hours.

IF THESE GUIDELINES ARE NOT FOLLOWED, THE BAGS WILL BE LEFT. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Normal Recycling Schedule & Recycling Tips

Every 2nd Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Must be brought to the Town Hall. Please do not drop your recyclable outside of this time.
